The second songwriting brief for the PCP module asks us to revisit the Gary Clark brief. The only parameter of this brief is that we write a song that will have the same title we used when writing for a pop artist. This time however the song must fit within our repertoire for performance. Perhaps what makes this task so challenging is that quite simply the title I chose when writing for another artist is a title I would probably never use for one of my own songs. The title was "Don't Matter," without context completely ambiguous. At the moment I am scrambling for ideas but hopefully the ambiguity will allow for some creativity.
